Jack The Ripper Grell
As part of my quest to cosplay every version of Grell, it was no surprise to bring out my black coat to do the Jack The Ripper outfit as seen during Grell's reveal. It was easy, but definitely HOT. My wig's are forever a mess, my props still look horrible. But hey, cosplay. This was 100% recycled parts of previous cosplays and stuff that I already owned.
The 2nd wig used for this was an Epic Cosplay brand. I never styled it because I'm lame! Glasses were from the dollar store that I popped the lenses out in most but not in all. The chain was made with supplies from Michaels and Jo-annes. The neck tie is ribbon from Jo-Annes. Gloves were ones I already owned.
I recycled my dress shirt and pants for this cosplay, and in the last two images you can see the faint look of the vest I altered for the project. So many layers! Shoes are also recycled from previous projects,
The chain saw was my biggest frustration. The first attempt was poorly done with 2 days of no planning. The 2nd one I put more effort into it but structurally it was bad and it was still made out of card board. But it looks way more better than the first at least.
