Choir Grell
The train of Grell doesn't end, although this ended up being my last Grell cosplay ever. It was a brief scene in the first season where they went to a church and Grell wore this and ope. I did the thing. I actually used fabric I already had, so the only thing I invested in was a new wig!
I used a Simplicity pattern for the shawl and shirt. They're both lined. The shawl snaps in the front and the shirt has a zipper in the back. The tassles were siple shapes that I lined and added some basic gray trim. The emblems on the side were horribly embroidered because I had no clear idea what the symbol was but also...I don't have an embroidery machine haha. The little bow came from a different cosplay that I used, I liked the contrasting colors!
The pants and belt were from my closet. The shoes and boot covers are from my Charles Gray cosplay! I didn't have luck finding white boots in my size (I have large feet) so I just stuck with those until I could find shoes....which I never did. Oh well. I started recycling my cosplay pieces because of this! Thanks Choir Grell!
The wig is from Epic Cosplay, my first purchase from them. Great quality! However the wind from that weekend ruined it FAST. Grell is part of the reason why I avoid long haired characters now. I borrowed the glasses from my friend because mine broke.
