Arslan Senki, or Heroic Legend of Arslan, was something I just kinda discovered randomly on Crunchyroll and decided to give it a shot. WOW. I swear this anime is under rated. It's based off of a novel and the manga is drawn by Hiromu Arakawa, the one behind Full Metal Alchemist. The anime is SO WELL DONE, the OST is great, animation is perfect, and it actually blended 3D animation very well. It's very political and it's got some fan service, but if you like animes with heavier plots, please give this a shot. There's a lot of characters and plot twists to keep you entertained. It has a 2nd season before being cancelled due to low interests. :(
